Pictures of Long Ago!

Hello everyone! It's me, Karine. I thought I would start posting some pictures on the blog of Far Far & Far Mor because after all, they are a BIG part of our family and we love and miss them so much!
Above is a photo I found of Grandma and Grandpa sitting together in my mom and dad's van. This picture was taken in the Fall of 1995! I think it was right after Kevin's missionary farewell. You can correct me if I'm wrong!

Here is one I found of me with Grandpa. This was taken a few years before he died I think. If anyone else has some photos of this wonderful couple, post it so everyone can see it (This means you mom!)!

Hi and Welcome!

I finally got down to business and created a blog for us. I have sent an email to those whose addresses are on the list. There isn't much here yet, but I'm sure there will be soon.

It was wonderful to see those who came to Utah for the reunion, and many thanks to Nancy and Edith for hosting and putting it together! I had a blast playing instruments with those who participated, and I hope that everyone else was not bored to tears. As painfully shy as I can be at times, I am in my element when I have an instrument and someone who is willing to play along. For me, the audience is optional. I don't know if that is normal or not. Hmm.

My kids didn't know they had so many cousins. Jonathan had a blast in the pool with all the other boys. I enjoyed the videos that showed our history and what life used to be like in Norway. I'm not sure who brought those, but thanks for bringing them!

Best of all was seeing those of you that I haven't seen for so long, and of course meeting new cousins that I had only heard about and whom I hope to have the chance to get to know better.

Please share your favorite moments from the reunion if you have a minute.
